Lead Engineer - Cyber Security

Overview

Lead cybersecurity engineering for gas power control solutions, developing and deploying OT cybersecurity strategies, technologies, architectures, and lifecycle tools while working with global, cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for gas power control.
• Develop strategies for OT cybersecurity for gas power control solutions with controls NPI networking and cyber teams.
• Design, implement, and test OT cybersecurity solutions for new units and services.
• Address rigorous security requirements while maintaining the safety, availability, and reliability of physical assets.
• Mentor a team of engineers in control server networks and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with product line leaders to capture and translate customer cybersecurity requirements for NPI teams.
• Work with technical leaders, system architects, and principal engineers to develop test plans for product cybersecurity strategies and product development.
• Drive the product development and deployment of new technologies and lifecycle tools for application sizing, installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Serve as the point of contact for project teams for technical questions and guidance on OT cybersecurity.
• Document standard procedures for product lifecycle stages related to cybersecurity services.
• Evaluate and implement virtualization technologies.
• Drive security technologies, including firewall, IDS, and endpoint security solutions, within the control system.
• Train and coordinate with global teams on new cybersecurity service releases.
• Support field personnel in resolving technical issues and coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, and services.

What you'll need

• Bachelor, Master, or above in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Controls-Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Automation, or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in Control server/network design.
• Hands-on experience with Network, Compute, Data, Storage, and Application security principles for on-premises/cloud applications.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to influence.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective problem identification and solution skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NERC/CIP and IEC 62443 standards.
• Ability to coordinate several programs simultaneously.
• Proven team player with solid cooperation, flexibility, and demonstrated capacity to learn complex information quickly.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• High energy team player with multi-cultural skills, able to influence effectively in a decentralized, cross-functional matrix and global environment.
