Lead Engineer Firmware (Motor Control)

Overview

Lead Engineer Firmware (Motor Control) to design, validate, and integrate advanced motor control algorithms for embedded systems.

What you'll do

• Design, optimize, and implement motor control algorithms including Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and Direct Torque Control (DTC).
• Use MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and control validation.
• Identify and resolve complex motor control and firmware issues during development and deployment.
• Ensure motor control systems and firmware follow safety standards and best practices.
• Conduct system-level tests to verify performance, reliability, and safety.
• Lead and mentor the project team and guide integration of algorithms into embedded systems.

What you'll need

• Over 8 years of experience in a similar position.
• Extensive experience in motor control and firmware development.
• Expertise developing and optimizing motor control algorithms for variable speed drives.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, C, and C++.
• Project leadership experience, including defining roadmaps and ensuring integration into embedded systems.
• English communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.
