Lead Engineer for Product Standardization / CTO

Overview

Lead Engineer for Product Standardization / CTO role focused on overseeing mechanical design implementation, ensuring timely and quality delivery, and advancing product line standardization and enhancement.

What you'll do

• Oversee design integrity and delivery of engineering packages for projects within time, budget, and quality standards.
• Contribute to standardization and product enhancement using Value Engineering.
• Check and approve engineering drawings, including 3D models, for completeness, clarity, standards, dimensional accuracy, and material/process specifications.
• Coordinate and monitor progress of design work performed by another designer.
• Travel to job sites and regional offices as needed to support equipment issues, installations, and sales efforts.
• Develop design standards, guide specifications, and design control procedures.

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (required).
• 10–15 years’ experience in design and development of large industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in mechanical design fundamentals (e.g., machine design, mechanics of materials, structural analysis, fluid mechanics, etc.).
• Working knowledge of standard steel fabrication, casting, and other manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with engineering design tools including AutoCad, Solidworks, and FEA-ANSYS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
