Lead Engineer, Senior

Overview

Lead Engineer (Senior) role focused on developing and debugging low-speed peripheral device drivers across RTOS and Linux environments.

What you'll do

• Debug and resolve driver issues reported by internal test teams and customers.
• Design and develop drivers on one or more operating systems including RTOS or embedded operating systems.
• Develop and support drivers for protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and 1-wire/2-wire/PCIe.
• Work on driver design and development for multiprocessor and multithreaded ASIC platforms through the SDLC cycle.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and produce embedded software specifications.
• Document software design, development, and testing processes for maintenance.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience with embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C.
• Knowledge of driver design and development on RTOS or embedded operating systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of microprocessor and multiprocessor architecture.
• Minimum degree: BE/BTech/MTech with 3+ years, or Master’s with 2+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of software engineering experience (in related fields).
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
