Lead Engineer Specialist, Plant Engineering

Overview

Lead Engineer Specialist for Plant Engineering in the Pulp, Energy & Circularity business area, based in Chennai, India.

What you'll do

• Develop and carry out plant engineering, including layout, equipment, duct, piping, support engineering, detailed design, and engineering calculations.
• Perform basic modeling for Boiler and evaporator areas considering operational, maintenance, and access requirements.
• Coordinate engineering activities as a lead engineer when nominated, including directing and carrying out engineering tasks.
• Interface with COMOS and MFile.
• Coordinate with agencies to receive inputs, maintain schedules, and provide quality-compliant deliverables.
• Manage and develop reporting lead engineers, engineers, and designers.

What you'll need

• Mechanical Engineering Graduate.
• 15 - 20 years of experience.
• Plant layout and concept/basic/detailed engineering knowledge for Boiler & Evaporator areas.
• Detail engineering knowledge of equipment, piping, and ducting, plus support engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ASME and EN codes and strength calculation.
• Good knowledge of flexibility analysis.
