Lead Engineer: TDM / PDM Business Release Management

Overview

Lead the business release management of TDM and PDM tools across in-service, under-development and future aircraft programs, bridging Digital/IT teams, Program Management and Extended Enterprise (suppliers) within an Agile SAFe environment.

What you'll do

• Track and manage deployment of Epics, Capabilities and features using VersionOne as the primary system of record.
• Partner with Solution/Product Managers and Epic Owners to define release and solution roadmaps.
• Synchronize release roadmaps (including MVP0) with Programs and MCA through Blue/Orange plan alignment.
• Engage in Pre- and Post-PI planning sessions to ensure continuity across release cycles.
• Map large solution dependencies and run regular alignment sessions with release managers.
• Design deployment strategies and execution plans covering training, communication, user documentation and methodology.
• Steer end-to-end business rollout across external suppliers for PDM and TDM releases.
• Supervise development, review and approval of user training materials.
• Lead Go/No-Go decision gates with stakeholders from Programs, DDMS, MCA, LS and Procurement.
• Ensure TDM and PDM solutions comply with Export Control, GDPR, IP protection, Extended Enterprise and data segregation standards.
• Direct post-deployment operational phases and Early Life Support in coordination with Business Operation Support and Elbow support teams.
• Maintain, update and present quarterly PDM/TDM Airframe M&T roadmaps to key client stakeholders.
• Lead effort estimation, budget planning, financial management, supplier coordination and business case value realization with customers.
• Coordinate and deliver PDM/TDM business requirements and inputs into Digital Team workstreams.
• Lead Business Acceptance Testing: define BAT strategy, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, feature/capability coverage matrix, data flow diagrams and test data specifications.
• Prepare the Business Test strategy and identify, plan and manage Business Testers and their budget expectations, including suppliers where relevant.
• Prepare and manage the Business Test Campaign.
• Lead Business Test executions and defect management, organizing and driving daily defect drum beats.
• Manage conclusion of Business Testing and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Understanding of and experience with Agile methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in PDM/TDM tools (e.g. 3D Experience, Catia V5, VPM, PASS SSI, APS, DPDS, TAKSY, GILDA, SPRINT NG, VPM etc.).
• Knowledge of configuration management principles.
• Qualification: B.E / M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical or Aeronautical.
• Preferably 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working on Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile or DevOps.
• Knowledge of PM&T documentation and DE.PA referential (Instructions, Procedures, PSD's etc.).
