Job description

Overview

Provide product leadership for Electronic Product Information (ePI) within GSK's Enterprise Systems, translating business strategy and user needs into a product vision, measurable outcomes and an actionable roadmap, and leading cross-functional delivery across the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Create, own, and communicate the product vision and multi-year roadmap, translating strategic priorities, user needs, regulatory requirements, technical dependencies, and investment constraints into sequenced outcomes.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with business stakeholders, regulatory teams and external partners, translating their needs into clear product outcomes and requirements and maintaining alignment throughout delivery.
  • Own and manage the Product backlog, ensuring requirements (e.g., epics, features, user stories) are well-defined and supported by minimum data inputs (e.g., cost drivers, user volumes, risk/sensitivity, process impact, dependencies).
  • Lead your team in using approved AI tools to improve productivity and ways of working, including discovery, backlog refinement and requirements drafting; role-model responsible use, ensure AI-assisted outputs are reviewed before acceptance, and follow GSK's Responsible AI, privacy and security requirements.
  • Make prioritisation decisions for the Product backlog based on value, cost, risk, business continuity, and resource capacity, escalating only where strategic trade-offs are required.
  • Lead the Product team's delivery activities, building shared understanding of the product vision and roadmap, resolving ambiguity and competing priorities, and guiding the team toward solutions that are fit-for-purpose, secure, compliant, supportable, and aligned with architectural standards.
  • Drive operational readiness by applying a delivery readiness checklist covering support model requirements, training needs, continuity planning, configuration/runbook documentation, release notes, and user onboarding.
  • Define and maintain the Product performance dashboard, tracking adoption, cycle time/throughput, stability/defects, and support effort, and use performance insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure product changes follow required security controls, risk assessments, data handling policies, and regulated change processes, obtaining approvals from relevant SMEs where required.
  • Ensure the product and its changes comply with applicable GxP requirements, including computerised system validation, data integrity, controlled documentation, and regulated change control, obtaining approval from relevant quality and compliance SMEs where required.
  • Lead technical deep dives with Engineers, Solution Architects, security specialists, and vendors to evaluate solution options, constraints, dependencies, scalability, supportability, and total cost of ownership, and make or recommend evidence-based product decisions aligned with the product vision, enterprise architecture, regulatory requirements, and long-term roadmap.
  • Act as an escalation point for the Product team and business users on functional product issues, guiding decisions within agreed financial, risk, and architectural guardrails.
  • Own product-level financial planning and control within agreed guardrails, including budget forecasting, cost tracking, investment proposals, vendor spend, and benefits realisation, and provide transparent financial reporting, identify variances and recommend trade-offs.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering), or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of functional domains within Regulatory and Artwork and familiarity with the technology platforms that enable them.
  • Understanding of product performance measures and KPIs, with the ability to drive improvements in product adoption, cycle time, stability, support effort, and overall user experience.
  • Typically 7+ years of experience working in product delivery, digital solutions, business systems, or process-led technology roles.
  • Experience developing PoCs, PoVs, MVPs, and business value validation models.
  • Proven stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex business, regulatory, and technology topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience delivering and supporting digital products in a GxP-regulated environment, with practical knowledge of computerized system validation, data integrity, controlled documentation, risk management, and regulated change control.
  • Proven experience leading digital product delivery from requirements definition and prioritisation through implementation, validation, release, adoption, and lifecycle support.
  • Proven experience defining and prioritising functional requirements (e.g., epics, features, user stories) and managing a product backlog.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in product work to improve productivity and ways of working, and guiding teams in their responsible use.
  • Demonstrated ability to make prioritisation decisions based on business value, process impact, risk, cost, and technology constraints.
  • Experience leading delivery teams or analysts through the product lifecycle, from refinement and design through testing, release, and adoption.
  • Familiarity with enterprise governance requirements such as change control, security, data protection, and regulatory/compliance considerations.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement approaches (e.g., automation, process simplification, user-centred enhancements) that uplift product adoption, stability, or user experience.
  • Experience working within agile delivery environments and using iterative planning, delivery, and release practices.

Nice to have

  • Industry certifications highly desirable (e.g. Agile Methodologies, CPM).
