Overview
Lead Enterprise Platform Architect for the Microsoft platform within General Mills’ Digital Foundations organization, accountable for architecture across enterprise integrations and Microsoft 365 workloads.
What you'll do
- Provide architecture leadership and consultative guidance for Microsoft enterprise initiatives.
- Make architecture decisions for Microsoft 365 and related platform services aligned to enterprise architecture principles, governance, security, and roadmap direction.
- Develop near-term Microsoft landscape architecture strategy, including dependencies and sequencing.
- Review and guide solution blueprints for Microsoft 365 workloads to ensure consistency with standards and best practices.
- Design enterprise-scale solutions across collaboration, identity, security, compliance, automation, and end-user computing with strong integration focus.
- Define architecture patterns for identity and access management, authentication, authorization, directory synchronization, external collaboration, and hybrid Microsoft environments.
- Lead architecture considerations for Power Platform, Microsoft Graph APIs, PowerShell automation, licensing governance, and Microsoft 365 operational efficiency.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, or solution architecture with significant focus on Microsoft platform and ecosystem.
- BE/B.Tech and any graduation or above.
- Deep expertise across Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Entra ID.
- Strong experience architecting enterprise-scale Microsoft platform implementations in complex, global environments.
- Demonstrated experience making architecture decisions across collaboration, identity, integration, automation, security, compliance, and end user computing domains.
- Experience partnering with cybersecurity, compliance, and business stakeholders to meet requirements across data protection, threat protection, retention, legal hold, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities and drive practical mitigation plans.
Nice to have
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI for governance reporting, operational dashboards, or platform insights.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring, observability, and advanced reporting solutions for Microsoft environments.
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles and their application across Microsoft collaboration and identity services.
- Exposure to AI-enabled Microsoft capabilities such as Copilot, automation intelligence, or emerging productivity services.
- Experience evaluating vendor products, platform TCO, and roadmap trade-offs.
- Knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies including agile, DevOps, and iterative delivery approaches.
