Overview
BI Solution Architect to lead business intelligence transformation initiatives, with a focus on Power BI modernization, dashboard migration, and reusable accelerator development.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain reusable BI accelerators to improve delivery.
- Optimize Power BI Service workspaces and the end-to-end development process.
- Lead programs to migrate thousands of dashboards to Power BI within a few months.
- Build utilities using PowerShell, Power Automate, REST APIs, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Design scalable enterprise Power BI solutions with performance and security in mind.
- Optimize migrated reports and datasets for performance, usability, and maintainability.
- Mentor Power BI developers through reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing.
What you'll need
- Experience building BI practice innovations, including accelerators and migration frameworks.
- Power BI skills including Power BI APIs, Power BI service/workspaces, and semantic model optimization.
- BI and visualization experience with Tableau and other referenced legacy platforms.
- Programming skills including Python, React, Node.js, and APIs.
- Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, YAML, JSON, XML.
- Data/warehousing exposure to MySQL Server, DuckDB, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- DevOps/DataOps tooling skills including Git and Docker.
