Staff AI Developer

Overview

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for healthcare and life sciences use cases, including patient and donor risk assessment. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to build scalable architectures and production AI applications.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy AI/ML models and algorithms.
• Build predictive models for patient and donor risk assessment.
• Process structured and unstructured healthcare datasets.
• Integrate AI models into production systems through APIs or microservices.
• Optimize model performance, accuracy, and interpretability.
• Monitor, retrain, and maintain production models using MLOps practices.
• Apply healthcare compliance and ethical AI practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of AI/ML development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, AI, data science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#/.NET, Java, or C++.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience developing classification, regression, or survival-analysis risk models.
• Knowledge of healthcare or life sciences data, including patient and donor datasets.
• Experience with data preprocessing, REST APIs, GitHub, statistics, and probability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Generative AI and large language models.
• Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR healthcare data standards.
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Azure AI/ML Studio, or Google Vertex AI.
• Knowledge of MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, or Kafka.
• Background in clinical analytics, epidemiology, or biostatistics.
• AI or cloud certifications.
