Overview
Senior Windows & Automation Engineer responsible for engineering, automation, and operational reliability of the Windows Server platform estate across APAC.
What you'll do
- Provide executive oversight for 24x7 Windows platform operations across APAC.
- Manage stability, availability, capacity, patching, and lifecycle for virtualization environments.
- Lead major incident management, escalations, and cross-team coordination.
- Drive automation-first operations using Ansible, PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Enable observability-first operations with metrics, logging, and tracing; improve visibility using Dynatrace/Splunk.
- Ensure security/compliance including vulnerability remediation, patch compliance, and security posture.
What you'll need
- 10+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
- Expert-level proficiency (L2) in SRE and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Advanced programming skills for custom scripts and integrating systems.
- Understanding (L2) of API integration techniques and experience with DevOps tools for continuous delivery.
- Deep expertise (L2) in Windows administration, MECM, and JSON/YAML scripting.
- Be open to extended shifts or weekends on a regular/rotational basis.
