Lead Functional Analyst - SAP CFIN and SAP FICO

Overview

Lead Functional Analyst responsible for translating finance requirements into scalable SAP Central Finance and SAP FICO solutions and supporting the Finance Transformation journey. The role covers coordination with technical leads and the full project lifecycle from planning and design through configuration, testing and go-live support.

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end implementation of Central Finance solutions with the team.
• Drive initial data loads and ongoing replication for accuracy and performance.
• Develop and enhance reporting solutions for data visibility and quality monitoring.
• Assess and improve Central Finance processes and SLT configurations to enhance performance, scalability and business value.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within the Central Finance/SLT landscape.
• Support the IT Product Manager in Product/Service Planning based on customer requirements.
• Produce documentation of current challenges, future requirements and benefits in a manner appropriate for the customer.
• Define and develop specification documents for review with stakeholders and Product team members.
• Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand, capture and identify complex business requirements and operational objectives, with recommendations on automation.
• Coordinate with technical leads to map, implement and enhance SAP Central Finance solutions.

What you'll need

• 4 to 7 years of SAP implementation experience.
• Successful completion of one or more end-to-end Central Finance projects and mixed scenarios with stronger role play.
• Hands-on experience executing and managing the Initial Load process in SAP Central Finance from source systems to the Central Finance system.
• Solid understanding of Initial Load dependencies, sequencing, error handling and performance considerations.
• Proven experience using extensibility features within Central Finance.
• Strong understanding of how custom extensions affect data replication through SLT or AIF.
• Ability to define custom logic without impacting core financial processes.
• Familiarity with SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT), Application Interface Framework (AIF) and relevant customizing activities.
• Team player with a proactive “can-do” attitude and experience working on projects with international teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and elaborate ideas with business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, time management, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance Certification.
