Lead Information Security Engineer - IAM (SailPoint Testing)

Overview

Lead Information Security Engineer (Quality Assurance) on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, testing and validating IAM solutions and the SailPoint identity lifecycle to ensure security, reliability and performance. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the IAM Program Manager.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain test automation suites and frameworks (such as Rest-Assured, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman) to automate regression testing of IAM workflows and features.
• Define test coverage for manual and automation scripts.
• Create synthetic data for automation and performance testing.
• Develop performance test suites.
• Develop components using continuous integration and continuous delivery approaches.
• Collaborate with development, security and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Automate test processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and security aspects.
• Support multiple projects, development of SOPs and day-to-day functional capabilities.

What you'll need

• Extensive experience in test automation with frameworks/tools such as Rest-Assured, Cucumber, Selenium and Postman.
• Competence in building test suites in modern programming languages (e.g., Java or JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience working in an agile environment, collaborating with product and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, protocols and technologies (e.g., SSO, SAML, OAuth, LDAP).
• Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong expertise in testing and automation; comfortable using automation frameworks and integrating with large ecosystems.
• Good understanding of workflows in SailPoint testing and automation.
• 7+ years of experience in analysis and application onboarding.
• Good knowledge and understanding of data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration and self-motivation, with the ability to use own initiative.
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on technical execution.
