Lead Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)

Overview

Lead Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps) responsible for administering, automating, and troubleshooting large-scale Linux and Kubernetes infrastructure in a complex production environment.

What you'll do

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems across production environments.
• Develop automation solutions using Python and Bash for operational tooling.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, container platforms, and application deployments.
• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Lead production incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.

What you'll need

• Strong experience administering Linux/Unix environments (RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux).
• Hands-on expertise with Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tooling.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting production Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices including Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab.
• Understanding of networking, security, storage, compute, and infrastructure architecture.
• Proven experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere and KVM.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault and enterprise secrets management practices.
• Exposure to large-scale, highly available, enterprise production environments.
• Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
