Overview
Lead Product Designer responsible for elevating HighLevel’s product experiences through strong design craft, product vision, systems thinking, and cross-functional influence.
What you'll do
- Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product pillars from discovery through delivery.
- Translate customer needs, business goals, product strategy, and technical constraints into experience direction and design roadmaps.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to define product vision, prioritize opportunities, and align teams around high-quality outcomes.
- Influence leadership decisions using customer empathy, data synthesis, product judgment, and design rationale.
- Drive design quality reviews and set standards for usability, accessibility, interaction quality, visual consistency, and design system alignment.
- Mentor designers and raise quality across multiple teams through critique, shared patterns, and adoption of standards.
- Define and socialize design quality and impact metrics across signals like task success, adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
What you'll need
- 7+ years designing complex digital products.
- 2+ years in a leadership, mentorship, or design direction capacity.
- Experience across end-to-end product design lifecycle (research, IA, interaction, visual, prototyping, content strategy, usability testing).
- Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, including hierarchy, layout, typography, grids, spacing, motion, usability, and accessibility.
- Mandatory experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis, or workflow acceleration.
- Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns, and scalable product experience decisions.
- Applications must include an exceptionally strong portfolio.
