Lead Production Support Engineer

Overview

Lead Production Support Engineer responsible for production stability, operational excellence, and customer trust, with end-to-end ownership of critical production issues.

What you'll do

• Investigate production incidents end-to-end across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and distributed services.
• Debug modern applications using JavaScript/React/Next.js and/or Java/Scala.
• Monitor logs, service health, API behavior, infrastructure metrics, and business alerts to detect anomalies.
• Perform root cause analysis and publish executive-ready incident reports.
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, performance issues, API failures, and production environment behavior.
• Support releases, hotfix validation, rollback decisions, and post-release monitoring.

What you'll need

• 7–12 years of experience in production support, site reliability, platform support, or application engineering under L-3 Support.
• Strong debugging across frontend, backend, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or Java or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with React/Next.js and SQL/MySQL/NoSQL databases.
• Monitoring tools experience with Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK.
• Cloud platform experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with Agile delivery, incident management, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
