Lead Software Developer

Overview

Lead backend and data platform architecture, development, and engineering standards for Oneview, with a focus on Snowflake-based analytics and data services. Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across multiple teams.

What you'll do

• Lead Oneview data platform architecture across storage, integration, analytics, and governance.
• Drive Snowflake solutions for reporting, analytics, AI-enabled data products, and data warehousing.
• Own database performance, operational excellence, and cost optimization across Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Design scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions.
• Develop analytics, self-service reporting, semantic models, and Snowflake Cortex experiences.
• Partner on Java services, APIs, distributed systems, AWS platforms, and DevOps practices.
• Develop Python automation, orchestration, data processing, and platform tooling.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Snowflake production data platform experience.
• Strong SQL Server or PostgreSQL expertise, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong Java experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Strong AWS and Python development experience.
• Understanding of data engineering, warehousing, dimensional modelling, OLAP, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex, semantic views, AI/ML capabilities, agents, or AI-powered data products.
• Familiarity with Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
