Job description
Overview
Lead Software Engineer role with technical leadership for building and operating cloud-first, API-based solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of developers, including oversight of quality, timelines, and project risks.
- Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support activities.
- Build event-driven solutions using AWS services and modern architectural patterns.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of software development experience required.
- Advanced Python development required.
- Required skills include API and integrations, testing and automation, and object-oriented design best practices.
- AWS experience required (ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, API, Kinesis).
- Data and orchestration experience required (AWS Airflow or Astronomer, DAG development, DBT, Snowflake).
- Institutional Investments, Asset Management, or Financial Services experience required.
