Lead Software Engineer

Overview

Lead Software Engineer role with technical leadership for building and operating cloud-first, API-based solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of developers, including oversight of quality, timelines, and project risks.
• Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support activities.
• Build event-driven solutions using AWS services and modern architectural patterns.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of software development experience required.
• Advanced Python development required.
• Required skills include API and integrations, testing and automation, and object-oriented design best practices.
• AWS experience required (ECS, Lambda, EventBridge, API, Kinesis).
• Data and orchestration experience required (AWS Airflow or Astronomer, DAG development, DBT, Snowflake).
• Institutional Investments, Asset Management, or Financial Services experience required.
