Lead Software Engineer

Overview

Lead Software Engineer to design and develop reusable software components for geometry/visualization/simulation and lead technical ownership of project solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and develop reusable software components for geometry, visualization, and simulation.
• Use configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers as part of the software development process (CI/CD).
• Design, create, and execute new test automation framework functionality for software projects.
• Take technical ownership by architecting innovative solutions.
• Maintain high-quality components used by multiple products.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in C/C++/Python programming with exposure to client-server programming.
• Working knowledge of C# (or Java) and multithreading.
• Experience working on Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of software component architecture and API design for reusable software.
• Experience with a test framework such as GoogleTest or PyTest.
• Release and build automation experience with Azure Git Pipelines.
• Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science/Mechanical/Structural or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in CAD/CAM/CAE.
• AI-assisted coding exposure.
• Low level understanding of geometry/visualization software development.
