Lead Software Engineer - Angular

Overview

Lead Software Engineer responsible for building internal-facing interfaces that make AI systems easy to understand and operate, including admin dashboards, monitoring tools, statistics and analytics views, and a browser extension that surfaces library resources inside AI tools.

What you'll do

• Architect and build internal-facing UIs, including admin panels, monitoring dashboards, and stats/analytics views.
• Design and maintain the browser extension that surfaces library resources inside AI tools.
• Own design decisions end-to-end, including component architecture, state management, and performance.
• Venture into the backend when the problem calls for it by reading an API, tweaking an endpoint, or understanding the data model well enough to build the right UI.
• Take a vague problem, run with it, and come back with a solution.
• Review code, swap feedback, and help each other write better software.
• Write tests that catch real bugs, not just satisfy a coverage number.

What you'll need

• Minimum 6+ years building production frontend systems.
• Strong experience with React, Svelte, or Angular.
• A track record of owning architecture, not just implementing designs.
• Genuine comfort with backend concepts, including reading Python/API code, understanding what is happening server-side, and knowing when the fix belongs on the other side of the wire.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to get moving without a detailed specification.
• Use of AI tools as part of your workflow, including Copilot, agents, or LLM-based tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience working on a browser extension.
• Real experience in more than one of React, Svelte, or Angular.
• Enough Python/FastAPI experience to build a small service or fix a bug independently.
• Experience building internal tools that made someone's on-call life noticeably easier.

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Permanent full-time position.
• 45 hours per week.
• IST time zone.
• The team includes backend engineers, frontend engineers, and data scientists.
