Lead Software Engineer - DevOps

Overview

Lead Software Engineer – DevOps to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows for data engineering platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitLab to automate build, test, and deployment.
• Orchestrate multi-environment deployments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production) with approval gates, rollback, and artifact management.
• Apply GitOps practices for infrastructure and application deployments with version control and audit trails.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform across Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
• Use Ansible and Puppet for configuration management, patching, and infrastructure orchestration.
• Integrate monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) into CI/CD and infrastructure stacks.

What you'll need

• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline development with Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitLab CI/CD.
• Production-grade Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform (AWS and Azure providers).
• Ability to write playbooks/manifests and manage infrastructure state using Ansible and/or Puppet.
• Python scripting and tooling for infrastructure automation and deployment workflows.
• Operational knowledge of Snowflake warehouse management, cost optimization, and cloud integration.
• Version control and repository management using Git/GitLab/GitHub.
