Lead Software Engineer

Overview

Lead Software Engineer responsible for scaling the technology stack across applications, platform, and infrastructure. The role focuses on distributed systems, technical leadership, and building scalable, low-latency systems.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute the technical roadmap for scaling the technology stack.
• Design and build scalable, low-latency distributed systems for large-scale real-time data.
• Drive engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure operational excellence for critical, high-uptime services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create technical plans and lead execution.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of backend and infrastructure experience.
• Strong development, architecture, and design track record.
• Experience with large-scale databases, messaging systems, and real-time job queues.
• Experience understanding large-scale systems, complex codebases, and architectural patterns.
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
• Experience with Python frameworks including Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Experience with Google Pub/Sub and Kafka.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud.
• Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Celery, or Redis.
• Experience with AI infrastructure and operations.
