Linux System and Design Management Administrator (IT Infrastructure & Operations)

Overview

Linux system administrator for Engineering-IT, supporting Linux infrastructure used for semiconductor design and engineering operations.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Red Hat and Ubuntu Linux in physical and virtual environments.
• Handle system monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Support enterprise identity, access controls, and core services like DNS, LDAP, NFS, and web/application servers.
• Manage Perforce (P4/Methodics) hosting infrastructure including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Apply security best practices, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and support audits/compliance activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, perform incident response and root-cause analysis, and maintain operational documentation.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Experience managing enterprise Linux environments including RHEL and Ubuntu.
• 2–3 years managing design management infrastructure for Perforce or similar tools.
• Proficiency in scripting (shell/ Python) and advanced Linux command-line administration.
• Networking fundamentals knowledge including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, SSH, and NTP.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.
