LLM Model Developer

Overview

As an LLM Model Developer, you will fine-tune large language models with a focus on instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation to improve their relevance and performance in specific contexts.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to deliver work.
• Make team decisions and engage with multiple teams on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize model fine-tuning processes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to foster continuous improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate model enhancements into broader project workflows.
• Refine and adapt large language models to suit specific domains and instructions.
• Iterate on experiments, evaluate model outputs, and integrate feedback to meet accuracy and contextual understanding standards.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with model fine-tuning techniques, including instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation.
• Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and transformer-based architectures.
• Ability to analyze and preprocess large datasets to improve model training outcomes.
• Familiarity with evaluation metrics and validation methods to assess model performance.
• Capability to troubleshoot and optimize model behavior in diverse application scenarios.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
• 15 years full time education.
