Mainframe Security Analyst

Overview

Support mainframe security and identity management for a government healthcare claims-processing environment, with a focus on RACF administration and access controls.

What you'll do

• Maintain the mainframe RACF environment and monitor security access patterns.
• Create and delete user accounts across mainframe systems.
• Verify permissions restricting access to sensitive data.
• Coordinate security updates across mainframe environments.
• Research and resolve mainframe security and access questions.
• Report on production and UAT security and identity-management issues.
• Perform regular RACF security and user audits.

What you'll need

• Four years of experience and a bachelor's degree, with experience substituting for the degree where applicable.
• Experience analyzing government mainframe systems.
• Experience managing mainframe accounts and security environments.
• Expertise with IBM RACF and Vanguard Security tools.
• Experience with host-based security and RACF audits.
• Ability to use incident ticketing systems for tickets and service requests.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Location: United States; remote/teleworker.
• Potential on-call shifts may support batch processing and monitoring.
• CMS program candidates must have lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years.
• Pay range: $59,150–$106,925 per year.
