Overview

Managing Engineer for Data Security Engineering, leading a team that designs, builds, and operates enterprise data security capabilities as software products.

What you'll do

• Build and lead a team accountable for engineering data security products and controls.
• Set technical direction across architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and production support.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through code and solution design.
• Guide engineering across DLP Policy, Data Intelligence, and Data Access capabilities.
• Develop policy-as-code workflows, control patterns, detection logic, integrations, and automated testing/deployment.
• Automate control lifecycle activities such as validation, drift detection, reporting, alert enrichment, and health checks.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional software, data, or security engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineers while staying actively engaged in technical work.
• Deep knowledge of data protection including DLP, data discovery/classification, information protection, access controls, and data governance.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud/SaaS/CASB and enterprise data protection architectures.
• Strong scripting and automation proficiency using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, Terraform, YAML, JSON, or comparable technologies.
• Experience building version-controlled security solutions using policy as code, automated delivery pipelines, APIs, and reusable components.
