Overview
Serve as a Maintenance Engineer responsible for utilities operation and maintenance, preventive and breakdown maintenance of utility and production equipment, and spare parts management.
What you'll do
- Perform utilities operation and maintenance, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
- Operate and maintain DG synchronizing panels, transformers, electrical installations, HVAC systems, STP, ETP, and WTP.
- Diagnose faults, lead repair efforts to minimize downtime, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Provide technical expertise and manage contractor support.
- Ensure safety compliance and update maintenance documentation to restore operational efficiency rapidly.
- Understand and maintain mechanical and electrical systems for efficient operation.
- Understand circuit diagrams, trace problems, service, troubleshoot, and repair machines.
- Optimize maintenance procedures to improve machine performance.
- Use maintenance software and other computer systems.
- Prepare blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
- Ensure installations and applications align with customer needs and safety standards.
- Develop maintenance policies and procedures and respond to maintenance requests.
- Monitor maintenance and inspection plans.
- Read drawings, engineering specifications, and tolerances.
- Prepare and give presentations using MS presentations and use Excel and MS Word.
- Meet department KPIs for MTTR, MTBF, and PM adherence.
- Read and write electrical circuit diagrams and SLDs.
- Work on PLC programming, create ladder diagrams in PLCs, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
- Work with building management systems, business continuity plans, and emergency preparedness.
- Apply 5S, Gemba, continual improvement projects, LEAN concepts, and root cause analysis using quality tools.
- Prepare MIS reports for critical energy, water, and waste parameters to meet department KPI objectives.
- Follow a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

What you'll need
- BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the Maintenance department, especially in operation and maintenance, preventive and breakdown maintenance of utility and production equipment, and spare parts management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and presentation is mandatory.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to ISO and OHSAS standards and experience with internal and external audits.
- Experience of documentation work.
- Exposure to handling government agencies, local authorities, or agencies.
- Knowledge of QMS systems such as ISO 14000, ISO 18001, and EMS.
- Self-motivated, self-driven, open-minded, and a good team player.
- Willingness to accept cultural changes and adapt to them with the least possible time.
- Ability to interact and maintain good professional relationships with relevant cross-functional teams.
