Maintenance Engineer

Overview

The Maintenance Engineer (Maintenance In-Charge) oversees plant maintenance activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to policies and standards.

What you'll do

• Plan, track, monitor, and enhance cylinder filling station (CFS) maintenance activities per the Preventative Maintenance Plan.
• Oversee adherence to safety and statutory guidelines to support smooth operations.
• Report deviations, unsafe behaviors/situations, near misses, and accidents using the defined incident reporting format.
• Maintain site emergency response and action plan with updates in coordination with CFS Manager, PIC, and HSE.
• Implement the CFS maintenance process (including maintenance strategy and spare parts management) in line with GP-09.
• Review daily maintenance reports, take corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
• Manage SWP (Safe Work Permit) process, including maintaining SWP station, raising SWP, and reviewing at least 10% of SWPs.

What you'll need

• Diploma/Bachelor of Engineering qualification.
• 5 years of experience in CFS or any industry with experience managing plant maintenance activities.
• Technical skills in operational excellence, production, quality, and safety management.
• Behavioural skills including process orientation, execution focus, analytical skills, and people management.
• Good computer command, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Pivot table use/application.
• Statistical knowledge with experience in planning.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
