Overview
Services Technical Manager responsible for leading technical maintenance and warranty support for diesel locomotive teams at Roza, Uttar Pradesh.
What you'll do
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to crafts and CFT teams in locomotive maintenance management for 4500 HP and 6000 HP units.
- Plan and execute maintenance work to achieve best performance levels.
- Ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance (including heavy maintenance and wreck repair) follows laid-down procedures, timelines, cost, quality, and documentation/sign-off.
- Escalate non-compliances to the appropriate authority.
- Oversee EHS policy adherence and compliance with local regulations and local customer safety policies across the shed.
- Conduct technical analysis of recurring failure modes and develop/implement technical repair strategies.
- Manage technical warranty investigations, prepare technical reports, coordinate warranty repair protocols, and support root-cause analysis.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s in Engineering with 12+ years applicable operations experience in locomotive maintenance and/or transportation/rolling stock equipment.
- Ability to work in 24x7 operations with different shifts on various days.
- Experience/exposure to IT tools for planning and executing work.
- Ability to lead teams in a shop environment.
