Maintenance Engineer- Bhiwandi

Overview

Maintenance Engineer responsible for maximum equipment reliability, availability, and performance across production and utility systems, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems.
• Perform maintenance activities following LOTO and permit-to-work requirements.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance across equipment systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
• Restore equipment rapidly during production breakdowns and support RCA with corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment history and maintenance records in CMMS and monitor performance for reliability improvements.
• Support FMOS/CI initiatives and OEE improvement and downtime reduction activities.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in food, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or similar scale manufacturing.
• BTech/Diploma in Electrical and Communication/Instrumentation.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Experience with packaging equipment, conveyors, motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and utilities (preferred).
• Knowledge of safety risk assessments and safety improvement initiatives.
• Capability to participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
