Manager, Data Aggregation & Distribution L2 Support

Overview

Manage L2 data support operations that enable clinical research, leading a team of 14 specialists and ensuring reliable, compliant data pipelines across enterprise cloud data platforms.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and oversee a team of 14 L2 data support specialists.
• Prioritize and resolve data pipeline, ingestion, and distribution issues.
• Monitor support queues and service levels against agreed SLAs.
• Coordinate with data, engineering, analytics, and business teams.
• Improve support operations, pipeline reliability, and team efficiency.
• Maintain runbooks, escalation procedures, IT procedures, and data governance standards.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years managing technical support or data operations teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and Denodo.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines.
• Experience with Medallion Architecture-based Data Lake environments.
• Experience leading and developing teams of 10 or more technical staff.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Relevant Azure or Databricks certification.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management qualification.
• Experience managing L2 escalations and SLA ownership.
• Familiarity with GxP or regulated life sciences data environments.
• Experience with enterprise data governance and quality standards.
