What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures using Spark, PySpark, and Python.
• Lead and manage a team of data engineers with technical guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across data engineering projects.
• Implement data engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets for delivery.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements with stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 9–12 years of experience specializing in data services, data architecture, and data platforms.
• Hands-on data engineering expertise in Spark, PySpark, and Python.
• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
