Manager - DevTools (AI Enabled)

Overview

Hands-on technical leadership role for the DevTools (Developer Platform) team, focused on CI/CD, developer workflows, release automation, and AI-enabled engineering tooling.

What you'll do

• Lead the Bangalore-based developer platform team and set technical direction for CI/CD, release automation, workflows, and AI-enabled tooling.
• Own pipeline reliability as a product, including delivery health, time-to-feedback, release safety, and developer trust in platform signals.
• Stay actively hands-on across architecture, technical reviews, incident analysis, and automation work.
• Partner across engineering to remove bottlenecks in build, test, deployment, and promotion flows.
• Hire, coach, and grow the team while using data to prioritize investments and measure platform adoption and workflow quality.

What you'll need

• At least 1 year of demonstrated success building AI-enabled engineering tools or workflows with measurable organizational adoption impact.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, developer platform, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineers with direct people-management responsibility.
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering, agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, or LLM-backed internal tooling.
• Strong hands-on senior technical leadership track record in a modern SaaS or cloud-native environment.
• Solid technical depth in CI/CD, build and release workflows, developer tooling, and internal platform capabilities.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Work mode: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in the Bangalore office) with preferred 2–3 hours overlap with U.S. Pacific time.
