Manager – Dynamics CRM Solution Architect, Advisory

Overview

Senior technical lead to spearhead the implementation of Dynamics 365 Sales and Power Platform ecosystems, combining high-level architecture, hands-on engineering, and team leadership in a hybrid role.

What you'll do

• Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of D365 Sales solutions, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in architectural design discussions, translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Establish and enforce development standards, design governance, and solution validation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration designs, and deployment standards.
• Advise customers and stakeholders on industry best practices in a proactive and strategic manner.
• Own end-to-end delivery of modules in Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Design and build enterprise integrations using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, with heavy emphasis on Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API Management to connect D365 with third-party tools.
• Develop and extend custom plugins, Custom APIs, workflows, and extensions using C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dynamics 365 SDK, and Power Platform technologies.
• Design and customize Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and PCF (PowerApps Component Framework) controls.
• Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to ensure smooth, automated, and reliable software deployment.
• Manage, mentor, and guide a team of developers and technical consultants, providing technical direction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex technical blockers and troubleshooting challenging integration or customization issues.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews to provide constructive feedback, enforce coding standards, and ensure delivery of high-quality, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to perform gap analysis between business needs and D365 Sales out-of-the-box capabilities.
• Act as a senior technical advisor to executive stakeholders, clearly articulating technical risks, trade-offs, and recommendations.
• Support functional tasks when necessary, including requirement gathering (BRDs, FRDs), sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and data migration validation.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, estimation, planning, and delivery governance as requested.

What you'll need

• 7–12 years of proven hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE configuration, customization, and implementation, specifically within the Sales application.
• Strong leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale CRM implementations.
• Deep expertise in D365 CE Architecture, Dataverse security roles, environment governance, and complex relational data models.
• Advanced proficiency in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Webhooks).
• Highly skilled in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Fetch XML, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience with AI Copilots and agents using Copilot Studio, integrating workflows and Dataverse for conversational experiences.
• Hands-on experience with Power Pages / Portals.
• Experience in data migration using SSIS (KingswaySoft) and Azure Data Factory (ETL).
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Education: Bachelor of Technology (BE/B.Tech/Mtech/MCA listed as education qualification).
