Manager, Engineering

Overview

Manager, Engineering for the Managed Risk team, leading backend development, automation testing, and roadmap execution.

What you'll do

• Manage teams delivering high-quality software solutions with architects, developers, product managers, CSEs, and production support.
• Work with product teams to define and deliver the 3-month roadmap.
• Provide direction, clarity, and remove obstacles to keep teams delivering on time.
• Work with architects to define and execute technical roadmap items.
• Oversee the full software development life cycle.
• Establish career development plans and run regular one-on-ones for team members.

What you'll need

• 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.
• Backend skills in Python and Go.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Automation testing experience using X-ray or similar tools and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and vulnerability/exposure management.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
