Manager, Engineering

Overview

Engineering Manager for NIQ Analytics, leading software engineers and delivering scalable, AI-enabled product solutions. Hands-on leadership spanning technical direction and engineering leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead and shape best practices, coding standards, and organizational software architecture.
• Improve API services quality, performance, and reliability across the organization.
• Improve Angular frontend code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Lead development of AI-powered solutions to enhance end-user experience and productivity.
• Adopt and improve SDLC efficiency using AI tools and optimize computing cost/performance.
• Work with PL, Arch, PMO, and interfacing teams to productionize features and enforce DevSecOps.
• Drive design reviews, code reviews, and technical problem solving for delivery outcomes.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering.
• Deep expertise in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience designing, building, deploying, and refactoring enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong expertise in DevSecOps pipeline/quality gates (code coverage, testing, SAST, DAST).
• Experience integrating LLM APIs including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, or Mistral (or equivalent).
• Strong expertise in database technologies including RDBMS, NoSQL, Mongo, Postgres, and Snowflake.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in Agentic AI development using LangGraph, LangChain, or Google ADK.
• Hands-on experience building RAG-based applications and solutions.
• Good understanding of MCP and A2A protocols.
• Hands-on experience with caching/queuing tools (Redis Cache preferred).
• Experience in modern cloud ecosystems with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
