Manager - Extend, Services Consulting Management

Overview

Manager for Workday Extend Services Consulting Management, leading a team that builds and delivers custom Extend applications on the Workday platform for customers.

What you'll do

• Lead and grow a team of Extend consultants and developers.
• Ensure Extend application quality and security, including app promotion and code review.
• Partner with resource and regional teams to staff customer engagements and expand Extend capability.
• Drive customer satisfaction and delivery performance against quarterly objectives.
• Oversee design and delivery of custom Extend micro-apps using Workday tools.
• Manage Extend app integrations and orchestration flows using WQL, REST APIs, and Workday Web Services.
• Run agile delivery (sprint planning, technical specifications, backlog management).

What you'll need

• 12+ years of experience implementing cloud-based enterprise systems, including hands-on Workday platform work.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing consulting or technical teams.
• Workday Extend Certification.
• Deep technical knowledge of Workday Extend platform architecture (App Builder, CBOs, Page Builder, Orchestrate).
• Strong integration and data engineering skills (WQL, REST APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, Workday Web Services).
• Expert knowledge of Workday platform fundamentals (BPF, Domain Security Policies, native HCM and Financials object models).
• Hands-on experience with tenant governance, including app migration pipelines across Development, Implementation, Sandbox, and Production tenants.
