Manager II, Services Architect

Overview

You’ll manage and develop a team of Service Architects responsible for designing and guiding Datadog implementation work, while also helping grow Implementation Services sales and improve the program based on customer needs.

What you'll do

• Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Service Architects.
• Act as a player/coach to design and guide execution of Datadog implementations.
• Gather requirements, build technical architecture, and support deployment and launch.
• Develop relationships with sellers in your region to grow sales of Implementation Services.
• Connect with customers to position services and evaluate program impact.
• Own initiatives to improve program and service offerings.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Sales for onboarding.

What you'll need

• Experience designing and delivering technical solutions for DevOps Monitoring or architecture systems.
• 3-5 years of people management experience.
• 1-2 years of experience selling or positioning professional services.
• Outstanding presenting skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Experience with current infrastructure and monitoring solutions and technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Details

• Able to sit up to 4 hours and travel to and from client sites.
