Manager- Revenue Accounting

Overview

Corporate Accounting Manager in the Corporate Accounting Department, responsible for the integrity of General Partner (GP) revenue reporting and the accuracy of complex financial data across multiple fund structures, during a Workday system implementation.

What you'll do

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all revenue-related financial statement footnote disclosures.
• Perform quarterly reconciliations between non-GAAP and GAAP results, with deep-dive analysis on management fees, investment income, and incentive earnings/compensation.
• Facilitate month-end and quarter-end close by managing the roll-forward of all reporting schedules and ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct specialized financial analyses and variance reporting to support monthly and quarterly management decision-making.
• Perform detailed analysis of fee agreements and ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with accounting standards.
• Manage and review daily cash postings and supporting documentation, with a primary focus on GP revenue streams including management fees, investment income, and incentive income.
• Own and maintain detailed tracking schedules for all revenue categories and related balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate general ledger postings.
• Partner with International Accounting, Fund Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and specialized internal teams to reconcile cash flows and ensure global alignment with GAAP results.
• Act as functional lead for the Workday Financials system, optimizing it for revenue stream automation and reporting.
• Execute and monitor key internal control processes to maintain a robust compliance environment and support audit readiness.

What you'll need

• Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment and corroborate with team members.
• Strong reconciliation and analysis skills.
• Ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ensures compliance with corporate financial standards and internal control requirements.
• Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work collaboratively and gain the confidence of a wide variety of participants, including other departments.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; able to drive issues to closure, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
• Ability to work well under pressure and with time constraints.
• Ability to take the lead on various projects and communicate on follow-up items and progress as scope of work expands.
