Finance Systems Analyst - Gurgaon

Overview

Operational finance specialist role supporting finance systems, with a primary focus on Maconomy, within Kantar's finance function. Reports to the systems lead.

What you'll do

• Provide expert support for finance systems, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across regions.
• Manage system access, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with audit and control standards.
• Support core finance processes including month-end close, journal entries, and system updates.
• Collaborate with global teams to align workflows and address cross-regional challenges.
• Deliver user training, maintain documentation, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous improvement and service excellence through measurable KPIs.

What you'll need

• Degree in Information Systems, Management, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in finance systems support.
• Sound knowledge of MS Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and training skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Validated ability to efficiently follow policies and procedures.
• Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress and pressure, target and result driven.

Nice to have

• Experience with Maconomy.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, accounting principles, and key business process technologies.
• Experience working within a GBS environment, in large teams, and with transformation and change programmes, handling finance operations.
