Manager – Site Reliability Engineering, Advisory

Overview

Manager role in Site Reliability Engineering within PwC's Advisory line of service, focused on observability and network monitoring across hybrid platforms (on-premises and Microsoft Azure), with banking systems experience.

What you'll do

• Operate Azure cloud services and Kubernetes, including Azure Container Apps, Storage, Key Vault, Azure Policy and Azure Networking services.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Python, including API integrations.
• Build and run CI/CD architecture (multi-stage, gated deploys), release strategies and rollbacks, and IaC patterns (modules, workspaces, pipelines).
• Manage source control and pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitHub SCM (branch protection, PR workflows, CODEOWNERS, environments).
• Monitor networks and telemetry using the Grafana and Prometheus stack.
• Administer Linux systems.
• Automate security and compliance controls (image scanning, SBOM, signing, admission controls, secret hygiene).
• Manage incidents and apply reliability engineering practices.

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering.
• 8 years of experience required.
• 2 years of experience with banking systems.
• Azure Cloud Services and Kubernetes Operations, including Azure Container Apps, Storage, Key Vault, Azure Policy and Azure Networking services.
• Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Grafana and Prometheus stack.
• Python automation and API integrations.
• CI/CD architecture (multi-stage, gated deploys), release strategies, and rollbacks; IaC patterns (modules, workspaces, pipelines).
• GitHub Actions and GitHub SCM (branch protection, PR workflows, CODEOWNERS, environments).
• Network monitoring and telemetry.
