Overview
Manager, Software Engineer (AI) to lead a team building statistical and machine learning models for Conga’s next generation AI Solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead software engineering initiatives for AI/ML solutions and deliver high-quality software on time.
- Build AI/ML foundations and platforms including feature stores, distributed model training, and model versioning/evaluation.
- Drive operations for monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining pipelines.
- Work with data science and domain engineering teams to understand AI/ML use cases and build foundations for personalization, NLP, forecasting, recommendations, and generative AI.
- Integrate productionizing ML models into real-time and batch applications.
- Provide engineering leadership, mentorship, and performance management to a team of software engineers.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with increasing responsibility.
- 3+ years managing software engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Machine Learning Lifecycle (MLL).
- Experience with AI/ML production concepts including monitoring/drift detection and retraining pipelines.
- Experience using a popular programming language such as Python (preferred), with other listed options.
- Knowledge of modern software development practices including microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with cloud technologies on GCP such as BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow, Kubeflow, and Vertex AI.

- Limited travel to other company offices upon request.
