Overview
Manager, Software Engineering (Marketing Technology) leads engineering and partner teams to deliver technology capabilities aligned with business stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Partner with business stakeholders to inform prioritization and influence the technology roadmap, including non-functional requirements.
- Provide performance and impact data to define and track KPIs for technology investments and iteration decisions.
- Drive shared ownership of the team backlog and contribute to planning for technical roadmap execution.
- Champion DevOps practices to improve reliability, efficiency, and confidence in software delivery.
- Lead teams in resolving blockers and improving delivery best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with architecture to adopt enterprise standards, frameworks, patterns, and technology goals.
- Engage technical vendors (as applicable) for implementations, modernization, and capability improvements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field; relevant experience may substitute.
- 5 years of progressively increasing IS leadership and management experience in a complex global environment.
- Strategic planning experience for both business and systems.
- Successful experience across portfolio/program/project management, change management, and process improvement.
- Experience leading and mentoring a diverse team (managers, business system analysts, contractors) globally.
- Experience managing department budget and financials.
- Experience leading engineering teams supporting Marketing Technology platforms such as Braze, Zeta, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of full-stack development and cloud architectures, including API-first and event-driven patterns.
Nice to have
- Experience in Apparel and Footwear is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce ecosystem components including Commerce Cloud, PWA Kit, Service Cloud, and Order Management/Servicing.
