Manufacturing Associate

Overview

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment on 12-hour rotating shifts, maintaining quality, safety and process compliance at Micron Technology.

What you'll do

• Operate equipment and man multiple machines
• Use computer-based programs and applications to perform daily duties
• Provide machine coverage during breaks
• Log machines accurately
• Monitor equipment performance and communicate discrepancies promptly to your Lead
• Run equipment based on current process specifications, such as procedures and change notifications
• Organize your own workstation and ensure 6S
• Make suggestions to improve quality and safety
• Complete certification and recertification requirements by demonstrating understanding and abilities
• Actively participate in assigned on-the-job and other required training, asking questions to build knowledge and abilities
• Receive and understand shift pass-downs, and provide clear, accurate and detailed pass-downs
• Seek and provide feedback to leadership, coworkers and support groups to drive positive changes in performance
• Offer suggestions for improvement when appropriate and always seek clarification when in doubt
• Partner with key team members to continuously improve critical metrics, leveraging Generative AI insights where applicable
• Identify and promptly report hazards
• Follow safety protocols
• Use accurate lifting techniques and work in an ergonomic manner

• Working hours: 12-hour shifts with biweekly rotation between day and night shifts
