Job description
Overview
Manufacturing Industrial Engineer role focused on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for sheet metal and related industrial engineering activities.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize sheet metal fabrication, machining, and industrial engineering processes.
- Conduct time studies, layout optimization, productivity improvement, and ergonomic assessments.
- Create PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, Process Flow, and related documentation.
- Prepare and release manufacturing drawings, BOM, routing, and process sheets in SAP.
- Provide technical support for laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, surface treatment, powder coating, machining, and assembly.
- Drive Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Poka‑Yoke, and line balancing activities.
What you'll need
- BE Mechanical academic background.
- 3–5 years previous experience in tooling, manufacturing, or equivalent.
- Exposure to sheet metal parts manufacturing and industrial engineering.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication using turret punch and press brake machines.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP for Material Master, BOM, and Routing.
- Skills with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and basic 3D tools, plus the ability to read CAD drawings & GD&T.
