Marketing Automation & Operations Specialist

Overview

Marketing Automation & Operations Specialist focused on building operational and transactional customer communications in Braze for compliance, engagement, and critical lifecycle moments.

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end campaigns and multi-step Canvas journeys in Braze across email, push, WhatsApp, SMS, and in-app.
• Configure message variants, entry/exit rules, audience targeting, and trigger conditions from strategy briefs.
• Use Liquid personalization, conditional logic, and Connected Content to generate dynamic messages.
• Validate audience segment logic (include/exclude filters and test vs control splits) before handoff.
• Run content quality checks including Liquid variable rendering, localization validation, and UTM/tracking link consistency.
• Complete pre-handoff checklists and rework builds based on QA feedback in Braze.
• Collaborate with LCM Planners to translate brief intent into accurate Braze builds.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building customer communications in Braze.
• Braze certificate L3 (Technical Expert), with L2 (Mktg Specialist) and L1 (Practitioner) listed in requirements.
• Practical experience building multi-step journeys or Canvas flows.
• Working knowledge of Liquid templating for personalization, conditionals, and fallback logic.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, entry/exit criteria, and user attribute mapping.
• High attention to detail with checklists and adherence to naming conventions.
• Clear written communication in English across remote colleagues in multiple time zones.
