Marketing Specialist, Media Data and Optimization

Overview

Marketing Specialist, Media Data and Optimization supports Zillow's paid media organization by keeping marketing data clean and reliable, supporting budget optimization, and enabling tests and reporting across paid media channels. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Media Data and Analytics.

What you'll do

• Own data cleanliness and QA processes across paid media platforms and internal reporting systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Build and evaluate budget optimization scenarios to support investment decisions across lines of business and channels
• Support the set-up and deployment of marketing tests across paid media channels including TV, Online Video, Paid Social, SEM, Programmatic Display, and more
• Own and maintain recurring business reporting to surface media performance and trends to key stakeholders
• Create data-backed narratives for monthly reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Paid Marketing, Marketing Tech and Operations, Marketing Data Science, and Marketing Strategy to support shared initiatives

What you'll need

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a marketing data and optimization role, with hands-on experience supporting paid media programs
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and working with large data sets
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Databricks
• Familiarity with advertising platforms across paid media channels like CM360, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data quality
• Able to work both collaboratively across a wide set of stakeholders and independently, making well-reasoned decisions and moving swiftly when needed

Nice to have

• BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Location: Bengaluru, India (Zillow India office)
• Work mode: Office, approximately 80 to 100 percent of time each month at the Zillow India office
• Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office
