Overview
Materials Planner 2 plans and resupplies service spare parts and upgrade kits across a global network to support customer service, inventory efficiency, and supply continuity.
What you'll do
- Ensure availability of replenishment spare parts and upgrade kits for customers and regional depots worldwide.
- Manage planning and resupply of materials for an assigned portfolio of parts.
- Analyze historical consumption, installed base trends, and new product requirements to build demand and inventory plans.
- Implement ERP planning parameter changes based on a parameter review process.
- Review MRP exception messages and material shortages to maintain supply and customer support.
- Lead root cause and corrective action analysis for unexpected planning outcomes and present results to management.
What you'll need
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Experience in service parts/spares planning, inventory management, forecasting, and material replenishment.
- Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills for data-driven planning decisions.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment in a matrix organization.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engineering degree in Industrial Production/Mechanical; APICS CSCP/CPIM preferred.
