Maximo Developer - Senior Associate

Overview

Senior Associate role in PwC Acceleration Center India's Technology Consulting practice, focused on Maximo consulting. The role delivers Maximo solutions that modernize field service and operations for clients, working directly with them and mentoring junior team members.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement Maximo solutions to enhance asset management capabilities
• Integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems to streamline operations and data flow
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor Maximo functionalities accordingly
• Use analytical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve Maximo-related issues efficiently
• Lead the design and architecture of Maximo applications to support field service and operations modernization
• Apply knowledge of middleware architecture to facilitate seamless application integrations
• Support the deployment of emerging technologies within Maximo environments to drive innovation
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to align with client expectations and industry standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members in Maximo development and integration
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve Maximo solutions

What you'll need

• App Designer and DB Config: design and implement UI changes, custom Maximo applications, and schema extensions including custom objects and relationships
• At least 5 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Strong hands-on expertise in IBM Maximo 7.6.x and IBM MAS Manage (8.x / 9.x) across multiple functional modules
• Advanced Automation Script development: complex multi-object scripts, launch-in-context extensions, custom MBO validation, integration event framework, and field-level scripting in JavaScript (Rhino) and Jython
• Deep Integration Framework expertise: design of object structures, bidirectional ERP/GIS/SCADA integration, error handling, JMS queue management, and enterprise messaging patterns

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Developing solutions using IBM Maximo Asset Management
• Integrating Maximo with enterprise systems for seamless operations
• Navigating complex middleware architecture for application integrations
• Embracing emerging technologies in energy and utilities sectors
