Mechanical Design Engineer I (Pressure vessel)

Overview

Mechanical Design Engineer I (Pressure vessel) at Pall Corporation (Danaher) in Pune, working on pressure vessel design and related engineering activities.

What you'll do

• Create engineering designs that meet customer specifications and support safe, reliable operation.
• Design and detail products with a cross-functional team to ensure safety and functionality.
• Ensure designs align with customer requirements and current legislation.
• Participate in technical clarification meetings with internal groups, customers, and suppliers.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving on product technical issues with customers and suppliers.

What you’ll need

• Hold a B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or an equivalent program.
• Have 1-2 years of design experience.
• Have pressure vessel design experience as per ASME/PED standards.
• Understand P&ID, piping systems, and skidded systems.
• Have very good communication skills, especially in English.
• Have good knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/casting, and sealing mechanisms.
• Have 3D and 2D CAD skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in piping design using CAESAR-II and structure design using StaadPro.
